The term SPECTRE (Wraith) can be found in many countries and cultures, and is also present in Hungarian folklore. However, the word has many different meanings: a ghost can be fairy, spooky or creepy, and sometimes it is related to the word witch. But in the case of a piano piece, what does a nightmare mean? The musical illusion of a dreamy spell? Or will the musical act paint the illusion of a creepy, terrifying spectre? These are the questions András Virágh Gábor’s piano piece Spectre sought to answer.
